Two double bedrooms in a quiet location with sea views. Aaaaaand relax.

There are two double bedrooms available to rent at Ferghan Mhor – we can maybe work something out if you need two singles, so please contact us. Please note that each room shares a large and comfortable bathroom.

Each room has mini-fridge, a seating area, space for hanging dresses (or kilts!) and views across the sea. You’ll also have a hairdryer and access to WiFi. Both rooms are named after a campervan we have owned in the past.

We normally serve breakfast between 8am and 10am. You’ll have a choice of continental, fully cooked and pancakes. And you have a mini-fridge in your room with water and plant-based milk in it. Plus tea and coffee. And ALWAYS a wee vegan treat for you each day.

Room 1 - Black Betty

The largest room is Betty. Betty was our beloved Toyota Hi-ace workhorse that took us around Europe (and the friends that owned her before us). She’s pretty much been in every European country! Sadly, in 2016 we had to pass her on to someone that could repair the cracks better than we could. She now finds herself down on the south coast of England hosting a lovely couple and young family and probably hanging out with other cool campervans near Brighton.

Room 2 - Taranaki

The second room we rent out is named after our first and most beautiful camper, Taranakai, a volcano in New Zealand. Previously owned by two Brazilians - and two Germans before them and who did the artwork on her - Taranaki took us from one end of New Zealand to the other and back again. The room is a tad smaller than Betty - just like in real life - but still spacious with enough room for seating. After our visas ran out in New Zealand, we had to say a tearful goodbye to her in Auckland airport. We like to think that she’s still cruising around New Zealand somewhere.

"I would recommend staying here to anyone! Beautiful rooms, helpful and lovely hosts and amazing breakfasts!"
